54 is a multidisciplinary creative practice.

We work across experience design, creative direction and production. Our commissions include exhibitions, installations, private gatherings, product launches and cultural programmes.

The practice

We begin with research into the brief, the setting and the people involved. This informs the creative direction, design and production of each commission.

Clients come to us with early ideas, detailed briefs and projects already in development. We assess the work and agree its scope before preparing a proposal.

Experience architecture

For an exhibition, the order in which visitors encounter the work matters. At a dinner, seating, lighting and the pace of service affect how people spend time together. A launch has its own sequence, from arrival through the presentation and the conversations afterwards.

We consider these details during design and carry them into the plans, schedules and production briefs used to deliver each project.
